And so it begins...

Hello all I've begun my process of starting to translate recipes. It's interesting, it may be a challenge at times, but I have faith it will all come together prior to my leaving Ecuador. I just may see some challenging times ahead. As I sit here tonight trying to decipher some Spanish words I realize that I may not have them spelled correctly, and these are in recipes the ladies have written for me. So how do I go about asking for the word when i can't look it up? I can't say did you mean to say....(this) because I have no clue what this is. None the less I'll figure it out with collaborative thinking on the English end. Possibly once i've translated the recipe as a whole I can figure out what the word is I am missing, it's like a recipe puzzle, and I LOVE puzzles! The ladies as pictured below Esperanza, Kenya, and Laura. We work all week this week and then I'll have next week off. In which I found out today I will be dog sitting! I've never met Christy's dog before. But I'll be staying at her house while she is in Paraguay. Most likely watching lots of Movies! Can never go wrong with movies in the night time.

Hey Em,
I have been following your accounts and adventures. I knew you would LOVE it, what a perfect fit. The ladies you are working with look absolutely radiant. So tell us a bit about their business. And post some of those recipes, especially stuffed plantain.
Many prayers and much love to you,
Ant Cyn
